Program Director – Art Business Incubator. South Padre Island, TX | Full-Time

The Art Business Incubator – South Padre Island (ABI SPI) is seeking a full-time Program Director to lead our artist residency and working gallery. This role is ideal for a retail business professional with experience in management, operations, and marketing, along with a strong appreciation for the arts.

Responsibilities:

· Manage daily gallery and residency operations

· Coordinate artist schedules, stipends, and onboarding

· Lead artist business training, mentoring, and progress evaluation

· Support art sales, customer experience, and gallery events

· Oversee marketing, newsletters, and social media (with artist support)

· Maintain alumni relationships and coordinate monthly events

· Support fundraising efforts and community partnerships

· Perform other related duties as assigned to support organizational goals

Qualifications:

· Prior retail business, operations, or program management experience required

· Experience in the arts, creative industries, or small business development preferred

· Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a public-facing environment

Location: South Padre Island, TX

Salary Range: $50,000 - $55,000 annually
