Job Description: Vacation Specialist Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Vacation Specialist. This role is the first point of contact for guests and clients, responsible for handling reservations, providing excellent customer service, and managing front desk operations.
Key Responsibilities
• Answer phone calls, emails, and online inquiries regarding availability, rates, and services.
• Process reservations accurately using the booking system.
• Confirm, modify, and cancel reservations as requested.
• Maintain accurate records of all reservations and client details.
• Provide professional, courteous, and timely assistance to all guests and clients.
• Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints with patience and empathy.
• Promote and upsell services, amenities, and special offers when appropriate.
• Ensure customer satisfaction before, during, and after their visit.
• Greet and check in guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and welcoming experience.
• Manage check-out procedures, process payments, and issue receipts.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, management, and other departments to meet guest needs.
• Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and updating records.
Qualifications & Skills • High school diploma or equivalent (hospitality or business coursework preferred).
• Prior experience in reservations, customer service, or front desk roles is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency with booking/reservation systems and basic computer software (MS Office, email, POS systems).
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, approachable, and customer-first attitude.
