About Us

The Children’s Museum of Brownsville is a world of learning, imagination, and hands-on fun for children and families. Located in Dean Porter Park in Brownsville, the museum encourages kids to explore, create, experiment, and learn through play in a welcoming and engaging environment.

With 15,000 square feet of interactive exhibits, children can discover new interests through science, technology, art, health, engineering, imaginative play, and real-world experiences. Kids can explore everything from a child-sized market and café to construction, health, farming, weather, aviation, ocean life, and space exploration. Exhibits such as Boca Chica to Mars bring local connections into STEM learning, while creative spaces encourage art, discovery, and imagination.

The museum also offers educational workshops, special events, field trips, summer programs, and opportunities designed to complement classroom learning. School groups can experience hands-on activities that encourage role-playing, discovery, problem-solving, and creativity.

Planning a celebration? The Children’s Museum of Brownsville also offers birthday party packages and facility rentals, making it a fun and unique place for special occasions.

Whether you're a local family or visiting South Texas, the Children’s Museum of Brownsville is a place where kids can learn through adventure, families can play together, and every visit brings something new to discover.
