Island Jams' owner, Dan Vela, better known as ''The Grooveman'', offers a very unique music experience with a captivating flair, which consists of R & B, Island, Country, and Latin Salsa. ''The Grooveman'' utilizes a PA system and plays percussion instruments to accompany all the different music styles, and invites the audience to participate and join him on stage to play the instruments, which consists of Congas, Bongos, Hand Shakers, Tambourine, and other musical hand gadgets. This is the highlight of the show for both the audience and ''The Grooveman'' to get in the groove of the rhythm.

This is a very interactive venue with it's own pizzazz. There's no use of any monitors or teleprompter. ''The Grooveman'' has all lyrics memorized in addition to his own creativity that makes it chic. This presentation is very professional and creates a great party vibe.
