At the Laguna Madre Humane Society, we believe every tail deserves a happy ending! We're a small but mighty 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Port Isabel, Texas, with a big heart for the homeless animals of the Lower Rio Grande Valley. Our mission is simple: to help every furry friend find a forever home while spreading the word about responsible, loving pet care. Whether it’s through adoptions, foster care, or simply sharing a smile at our weekly wellness clinic, we’re here to make a difference—one paw at a time.

We offer low-cost veterinary services, spay/neuter programs, and pet care education to make sure our community’s pets stay healthy and happy. We believe that everyone deserves access to affordable vet care—and that no pet should go without love or medical attention. Every visit, every donation, and every volunteer hour helps us bring wagging tails and purring hearts to families across the RGV.
