About Us

From South Padre Island to the world, Sea Turtle Inc. protects sea turtles through conservation, medical care, applied research, and education.
An essential part of endangered species conservation is to help people understand the species and their importance to their habitat and our lives. Visitors to the facility can participate in a ''Turtle Talk'' which is given multiple times throughout the day. Additionally, we provide age-appropriate presentations for school groups and bi-lingual tours upon request. Sea Turtle, Inc. reached over a quarter million visitors in 2022.


Sea Turtle, Inc. is open for visitors year-round, closed only on Mondays and Christmas Day.
