Sea Turtle Inc hosts 2nd annual Kemp's Krawl: Family fun beach run to help save turtles!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, May 13th, at the Holiday Inn Beach Resort on South Padre Island

Sea Turtle Inc is excited to be hosting its second annual Kemp’s Krawl 5k walk/run event!

The run takes place Saturday, May 13th at 8:00 am; runners, walkers, and everyone in between are 
invited to traverse the beach to raise money for Sea Turtle Inc. This year a family-friendly fun 
run will begin at 8:15 am, where kids and families can take pit stops along the route at 
conservation stations to play games and learn interesting facts about the beach and sea turtles! 
All proceeds from this event will go to support the mission of conservation and rehabilitation of 
endangered sea turtles.

Starting at Holiday Inn Beachfront, this unique community event enables participants to experience 
the coastal beauty of South Padre Island up close and personal.

This year's event activities will begin Friday night at the resort with a unique assortment of 
family-friendly activities. In addition to a discounted room rate to stay at this beautiful resort, 
you will have access to a Dive in Movie, where you can enjoy a relaxing movie in the large swimming 
pool with a swim-up bar! Sea Turtle Inc will also host a Kids Night Out where kids can enjoy 
dinner, games, and conservation education while parents enjoy the resort's amenities or the 
nightlife of South Padre Island.

This is a 2-day event made for the entire family!

Accommodating all fitness levels, registration options are as follows: 5k Adult for $40, a virtual 
option for $30, and the Kids Run for $20. The first 200 adults to register will get a free 
commemorative t-shirt! All that complete the race will get a finishers medal.

currently under construction for the new hospital, and this event and its proceeds will help us
